Toolkit
The Extremes Toolkit (extRemes) consists of functions written in "R" (The R Project for Statistical Computing) to perform extreme value analysis. A graphical user interface (in2extRemes) is also provided. Tutorials are available for both extRemes and in2extRemes, emphasizing how the software can be applied to weather and climate extremes. This toolkit is being developed and maintained by Eric Gilleland (it was originally started by Greg Young). We gratefully acknowledge permission from Stuart Coles to make use of his "S" functions.
